FanDuel Algorithmic Picks (9/23)
Jhonny Peralta $2,300 – Another adequate performance from Peralta last night with two walks and a run. He continues to be way too cheap and gets the righty vs lefty matchup tonight with Brandon Finnegan on the hill.
Josh Harrison $3,200 – Last game of the series, and once again, Harrison is one of many Pirates players who have a great projection at Coors tonight. The Pirates are projected for just under 6 runs.
Adrian Gonzalez $2,900 – A slight price increase, but he’s still easily on the cheap side. Gonzalez has a fantastic righty vs lefty matchup with Chase Anderson.
Alex Gordon $2,600 – A bit of a minor slump for Gordon but nothing to be concerned about. Gordon is very affordable going against Roenis Elias at home with Kansas City projected for 4.6 runs,
Andrew McCutchen $5,200 – McCutchen has the best point projection this evening. Will Pittsburgh catch St. Louis in the NC Central?
Carlos Gonzalez $4,200 – The Pirates aren’t the only ones with a high point projection at Coors. Gonzalez gets the lefty vs righty matchup with Charlie Morton, who has posted losses in four of his last five starts.
Yoenis Cespedes $4,600 – Cespedes continues to anchor this Mets offensive attack, who are getting very close to clinching the NL East. Cespedes squares off with Williams Perez (1.57 WHIP) of the imploding Atlanta Braves.
Gregory Polanco $4,200 – Another Pirates star who gets the benefit of Coors Field. Christian Bergman is the pitcher, but he is more of a long reliever, is only making his second start of the year and allows a lot of HRs. The Rockies bullpen is below average and the core of the Pirates lineup are set up for a great night.View all posts by Nick Juskewycz
