Mike Morse $2,300 – Insanely cheap at Coors Field. It’s that simple.
Josh Harrison $3,500 – Last game of the series, and once again, Harrison is one of many Pirates players who have a great projection at Coors tonight. Harrison will hit 2nd tonight.
Tony Cruz $2,000 – Molina is still out, so Cruz at minimum salary is simply too cheap. The Cardinals are projected for 4.1 runs
Jhonny Peralta $3,500 – Another adequate performance from Peralta last night with two walks and a run. He continues to be way too cheap and gets the righty vs lefty matchup tonight with Brandon Finnegan on the hill.
Andrew McCutchen $5,400 – McCutchen has the best point projection this evening. Will Pittsburgh catch St. Louis in the NC Central?
Carlos Gonzalez $4,100 – The Pirates aren’t the only ones with a high point projection at Coors. Gonzalez gets the lefty vs righty matchup with Charlie Morton, who has posted losses in four of his last five starts.
Gregory Polanco $4,600 – Another Pirates star who gets the benefit of Coors Field. Christian Bergman is the pitcher, but he is more of a long reliever, is only making his second start of the year and allows a lot of HRs. The Rockies bullpen is below average and the core of the Pirates lineup are set up for a great night.
Starling Marte $4,800 – The Pirates are projected for just under 6 runs. Marte is hitting 4th.View all posts by Nick Juskewycz
