Low Salary

Justin Smoak $2,700 – A very reasonable price hitting fifth in the potent Blue Jays lineup. Toronto is projected for 4.9 runs at home.

Darin Ruf $2,200 – Ruff is hitting clearnup and has a very cheap price.

Tony Cruz $2,000 – With Yadier Molina still injured, Cruz gets the call behind the plate. Cruz will get the matchup versus the young and struggling Kayvius Sampson (1.86 WHIP).

Miguel Rojas $2,000 – The best cheap option at SS. Rojas goes against Aaron Harang, who is 1-12 since mid-May.

High Salary

Andrew McCutchen $5,800 – Not surprisingly, our projections love the Pirates who are at Coors Field tonight. Pittsburgh is projected for 5.8 runs, and McCutchen is one of several righties who face the lefty Chris Rusin.

Starling Marte $5,300 – See above.

Aramis Ramirez $4,400 – Hitting cleanup in the same game and has a very reasonable price in this matchup.

Josh Harrison $4,000 – Hitting leadoff for the Pirates and has a great price as well.
