FanDuel Cash Game Plays
No consideration of usage or lineup structure here, these are my favorite dollar for dollar plays on FanDuel.
Rashad Jennings ($6,600) – Jennings was my top pick this week because he has everything you look for in a play. His price is depressed having come back from injury. He’s on a Giants team that stays committed to run even in blowouts. He’s facing a weak run D and he’s at home. Lastly, he’s very involved in the pass game, which keeps his floor high. Barring injury, I have a hard time imagining Jennings not having a good game and I think he has a high ceiling as well.
Colin Kaepernick ($7,300) – Kaepernick continues to be mediocre game after game which is causing many daily fantasy players to shy away from him, but his matchup is absolutely perfect and his price is much too low. Another running QB, Russell Wilson, absolutely wrecked Washington’s D with his legs and although Wilson and Kaepernick aren’t very similar, I expect Kaepernick to have similar success using his legs. The 49ers are projected to score 27 points and Washington’s run D has been solid all year, the points will certainly come through the air in this game. And while Kaepernick looked bad last week against a soft Giants D, that was in an east coast road game. At home, he will look better.
Coby Fleener ($5,400) – It would be foolish to fade Fleener in cash games this week. The Colts love going to their TEs and RBs in the redzone and with Dwayne Allen and Ahmad Bradshaw out that leaves T-Rich, Boom Herron, and the Colts backup TE (who’s much more of a blocker) for their 2 TE sets in the redzone. Fleener is going to get a lot of looks and with his salary so low in a good matchup he’s guaranteed to be a good play. The entire Colts offense is pretty safe really, you could make a cash lineup with Luck, T-Rich, Wayne, Hilton, Fleener, and Vinatieri and likely have a profitable week in cash.
Matt Forte ($9,300) – Forte has a high price, yes, and Tampa Bay is worse against the pass than they are against the run, but Forte is a different kind of back. In what’s likely to be a wet and windy game in Chicago, Forte will be used constantly in the pass game and as always Forte will be a huge part of an offense projected to score 26 points at home. Last week vs the Vikings, Forte failed to score a TD and still eclipsed 20 fantasy points on FanDuel. He’s amazingly consistent which is what you’re looking for in your cash lineups, pay up for him.View all posts by Max J Steinberg
