5 Underpriced Players on DraftKings
All year, DraftKings salary algorithm has been aggressively changing salaries from week to week, and because of a weak overall offensive performance last Sunday, player mispricings are absolutely abundant in week 4. Missing out on extremely undervalued players can kill your team, so here are 5 of my favorite mispriced players that will help take your lineup to the next level.
Jordy Nelson ($7,200) – The entire Packers offense has a bad game and suddenly Nelson is priced very reasonably. He has a great matchup with a weak Chicago D and seems likely to get 100 yards receiving and catch 6+ balls.
Jeremy Maclin ($6,300) – FanDuel finally realized Maclin was drastically underpriced and raised his salary to $8,000. DraftKings didn’t seem to get the memo though, keeping his price in the $6000s. The 49ers have not been a great defense this year, allowing a ton of yards to WRs in their first 3 games. Maclin is the #1 receiver on the Eagles and should be both a safe and high upside play on Sunday.
Matt Asiata ($4,500) – He had a tough matchup at New Orleans in week 3 and still managed 10 points. With a good matchup at home against the soft Falcons D, I expect a a much better game. Asiata is the goal-line back for the Vikings and also catches out of the backfield, and with the mobile Teddy Bridgewater now at QB Asiata should get better looks running the football. His price is just way too good to pass up with so much going for him.
Donald Brown ($5,400) – Brown is a great play on any site this week going against one of the worst defenses in the NFL, and his team is projected to score more points than any team in football in week 4. His value is hard to beat this week.
Antonio Gates ($4,400) – With Ladarius Green out, Gates should get more looks this week and against the Jags weak D he should have a field day. A TD seems likely and even if he doesn’t get one, he’ll still easily top 10 points which is fine in a week with such weak TE’s.View all posts by Max J Steinberg
