FanDuel Under the Radar Week 13 NFL Plays at Each Position
After scoring on a few of the under-the-radar picks on Thanksgiving, we’ll continue with this usual here for Week 13. Again, the goal is to find guys who you obviously may not be thinking of, but they also have legit upside and won’t have much usage across the board.
Teddy Bridgewater $6,900 – I’m a pretty big proponent of going cheap at QB unless there’s someone you really like that’s on the expensive side (and there are a couple this week). But for those who are going cheap will likely jump on the Colt McCoy bandwagon at $6,000 at the Colts. This makes sense. and he is a good play. However, Bridgewater did post 20.6 FPTS last week against the Green Bay Packers, a defense that has been playing pretty well as of late. He’s also performed well against some of the other weak defenses, including the Falcons for 23.38 FPTS. Now the Vikings get arguably the worst defense in the Carolina Panthers at home and are favorites.
Fred Jackson $6,400 – Let’s remember that Jackson was performing like a top-15 running back (FPTS wise) before he was injured because of his PPR value. He’s been slowly worked back into the mix and is expected to see closer to his normal workload this weekend. The Bills return home to face a Browns rush defense that can’t stop physical teams up front. That’s exactly what the Bills are.
Cecil Shorts $5,900 – 100% a GPP play here. Shorts has either crushed opponents or been a dud in the last month. His two awesome performances have come against the Cowboys and Titans, which are obviously weak defenses. The Giants fit this category for sure. The Jaguars are only two-point underdogs at home, so this is about as good as it can get. Also, if Allen Hurns can’t go, you can definitely throw Marqise Lee here too, and he’s only $4,800.
Kyle Rudolph $5,000 – Remember this guy? Well he has a fantastic matchup with the Carolina Panthers, he’s playing about 90% of snaps now, and he’s being used in the passing game again. Before the season began Rudolph was a projected top-10 TE, and he’ll certainly be used on bootlegs with Bridgewater.
Greg Zuerlein $4,800 – The Rams are -7, they are at home indoors, and Zuerlein has arguably the strongest leg in the NFL. It’s actually pretty simple, but he may not be used that much.
Bills $5,100 – Hoyer’s pass attempts continue to increase, and the INT’s are going up. The Browns’ luck is going to run out soon. The Bills have been in double digits seven times for FPTS on defense. With winds up to 20 MPH expected for Sunday as a home favorite, I’ll definitely take this in all formats.View all posts by Nick Juskewycz
