Daily Fantasy NBA 3/13: A Quick Look at Every Game

Golden State is resting a ton of players today so don’t miss out on the tremendous value on their team. This is a great day to play daily fantasy.

Aaron Brooks and Nikola Mirotic have obviously been on a tear, but their prices are rising to the point where they aren’t good values anymore. My sleeper for cash games on FanDuel is Tony Snell, he’s played 37.4 mpg in his last 3 and only shot 32%.

Al Jefferson is out, and Bismack Biyombo will step in at Center. I don’t expect massive minutes, but Biyombo is an offensive rebounding machine and Chicago is actually in the bottom 10 in OFFRB allowed (

Without Jefferson, expect Mo Williams and Gerald Henderson to have a USG% increase. Kemba Walker may be back, but he’ll be eased in. Williams still played 38 minutes with Walker back.

Two quick notes. Rudy Gay is averaging 40 mpg in his past 3, and playing some minutes at PF. And Demarcus Cousins price is still depressed on DraftKings, making him one of the top plays of the night.

I’m not sure who will start at PG, but Ish Smith and Isaiah Canaan have been getting minutes together. Sports Bettors clearly like this, projecting the 76ers to score over 7 points more than usual against the Kings. Nerlens Noel has been a defensive beast, and draws a good matchup. One player to avoid is Jason Richardson, who is losing minutes to Smith and Canaan.

Tobias Harris ,Victor Oladipo, and Elfrid Payton have averaged 36 mpg in their last 3 games. Tobias Harris is playable only on FanDuel.

Isaiah Thomas it out, which is helping the USG% of every Celtic. Avery Bradley had a 24.5% USG last game, and has a good price on DraftKings. One player to watch is Kelly Olynyk, who started the 2nd half in his last game and had a insane 39.6% USG. His price is low on both FanDuel and DraftKings.

Miami is finally healthy, but that doesn’t bode well for the fantasy value of any of their players, who are now all overpriced. Dwayne Wade on DraftKings may be the exception; his USG of 39% in his last 3 games is jaw dropping.

Over the Raptors last 3 games, Kyle Lowry is averaging 40 mpg. He has a great price on both sites. Amir Johnson and Jonas Valanciunas’ minutes are trending down, while Patrick Patterson has been playing 29.4 mpg in his last 3. The o/u of this game is 204.5, so don’t be shy to play some Raptors. Demar Derozan isn’t a bad choice either.

Nikola Pekovic is a GTD but my guess is he sits. Kevin Garnett is playing. The Timberwolves are 10 point underdogs. If Pek sits, Gorgui Dieng is a fine option on DK at $5,000.

Russell Westbrook’s price is still sky high, but the matchup is fantastic. Westbrook is somehow only shooting 40% on his torrid streak. I don’t mind playing with again tonight with all the values.

LA Clippers

Chris Paul is a GTD, but Vegas sportsbettors clearly don’t think he’s going to play. The Clippers are 3 point underdogs to the struggling Mavericks.

Even if we don’t know if Paul is out, Austin Rivers seems like a great option at SG on FanDuel. His minutes are up and his price is good. If we find out Paul is out, Rivers is an absolute slam dunk must-play. J.J. Redick should also benefit if Paul is out, but his price has risen quite a bit.

Tyson Chandler is back, and his FanDuel price is solid at $5,700. Chandler Parsons has also been seeing consistent minutes since coming back.

Golden State

Curry, Thompson, Bogut, and Iguodala are all being rested. Mo Speights is suspended. This is a remarkable turn of events, the Warriors will be very thin at multiple positions and there are going to be at least 4 extremely good value plays on the team.

Shaun Livingston and David Lee are all must plays by a mile. There is almost no chance they reach less than 5x value. Justin Holiday will start at SG and is extremely strong value.  My guess is that Leandro Barbosa will also be an extremely strong value play, because he is the only other PG suiting up, Denver plays very small at the guard positions, and Livingston, Holiday, and Barbosa are the only quality guards on the team.  We’re going to see a lot of small ball so it seems like we may actually see James McAdoo some minutes, but he’s a huge risk but probably worth a GPP play. Festus Ezeli may also see the floor but my guess is he doesn’t crack 20 minutes and we see Harrison Barnes play some PF. Draymond Green is showing up as #1 on our USG trend tool, and his offensive role should probably increase even more as well as his minutes.

Jusif Nurkic is questionable. No one has been getting big minutes for the Nuggets since their coaching change. Faried has been doing very well though, and Ty Lawson at $6,600 has a great price on DraftKings.

Mike Scott is doubtful, Dennis Schroder is questionable. If Schroder is out, look for Jeff Teague to get a significant boost in his minutes. Mike Scotts absence, on the other hand, shouldn’t be that influential on Millsap’s minutes, but may help a big in a great matchup. Millsap is well priced on FanDuel, while Al Horford is well priced on DraftKings. Teague has a good price on both sites.

Brandon Knight is doubtful. Without Knight in Phoenix’s last game, Marcus Morris started and was quite productive even though he shot poorly from the field. Markieff Morris, without a real backup, played 37 minutes. Brandon Wright has also seen his minutes sky-rocket, while Alex Len has barely been playing. Markieff has a good DraftKings price, while Marcus has a better FanDuel price.

One sleeper is Marcus Thorton, who played a very productive 22 minutes in the Suns last game. He’s close to min salary, but is a borderline play.

Andre Drummond is on a tear, but is overpriced on FanDuel. Reggie Jackson has only been averaging 30 mpg in his last 3 games, so don’t overvalue him even though it’s a great matchup.

Nic Batum minutes have been sky high with Wesley Matthews out, and his USG% is up as well. Damian Lillard has had exceptional stats in his past three games, while only shooting 41%. Batum has a great FanDuel price, while Lillard is priced slightly better on DraftKings.
