3/29 Fantasy NBA GPP Plays
Saturday’s NBA slate has a few key injuries and a couple of very good matchups. In this article I’ll breakdown the plays I like and the plays I’m terribly fond of:
Chris Paul $9,900 – Houston is usually strong against PGs, but with Pat Beverley injured the Rockets starting PG is Jeremy Lin who is a huge step down from Beverley. In Paul’s matchup against Lin earlier this season, he crushed with 23 points and 17 assists. Houston is without Dwight Howard as well, so I expect their offense to be a little more sloppy as usual so it’s safe to safe Paul could have several steals tonight.
Andre Drummond $7,300 – The matchup tonight for Drummond couldn’t be better, the 76ers are small an terrible on D and Drummond has taken full advantage this season with a ridiculous 31/19/6 (steals)/2 game and a 22/14/6(blocks) in 2 out of 3 contests with Philadelphia this year. His price is also pretty damn reasonable, he’s my favorite play of the night.
Henry Sims $4,600 – the 76ers may have found a legit player in Sims, topping 30 fantasy points in every one of his past 4 games. Detroit has been playing absolutely terribly on the defensive end so expect Sims to continue his tear. At $4,600 he’s probably the best value of the night.
Omer Asik $4,000 – Dwight Howard is out tonight so it’s hard not to like Asik for $4,000. I don’t expect him to have a huge game but he’ll have a double double by the end of the night most of the time, which is plenty of production for $4,000.
Jeff Adrien $4,000 – If I had to choose between Adrien and Asik, I’d choose Asik. But it’s hard not to like Adrien who’s starting for a short handed Milwaukee team that’s actually only a 10 point underdog against banged up Miami. Miami struggles rebounding so I’m taking the Bucks best rebounder in Adrien and feeling good about it.
Under the Radar
Tony Parker $6,700 – Parker is coming off a string of mediocre games, but he’s had 2 great previous games against New Orleans so he’s a real sneaky play tonight. I could see him topping 40 fantasy points and he’ll almost definitely have under 10% ownership tonight.
Brandon Jennings $7,200 – Yeah, he had a great game against Cleveland but my concern here is minutes. He could easily yield a ton to Will Bynum or Rodney Stuckey and his price is pretty high for someone who’s been this bad lately.
James Harden 10,300 – A lot of people like Harden tonight but I don’t. He’s had 3 games against the Clippers this season and he hasn’t gone off in any of them, having 3 sub-par games. His price is also very high and I’d rather play James, Griffin, Paul, or even Cousins for the same price.
Good luck tonight!View all posts by Max J Steinberg
